1) Why, according to the Prophecy of the Popes, the end of the world would occurr exactly at tbe beginning of the XXI Century?

The reason is very simple. Indeeed, as I illustrated in my Italian book Mondi futuri (i.e. "Future Worlds"), mankind, exactly in this historical period, is acquiring for the first time a the ability of self-distruction. Before the invention of the atomic bomb, also the most terrible war with the weapons available at that time couldn't wipe out the human species from the Earth or the death of a large part of the mankind. Genetic engineering exactly in these years and in the next decades will provide the man, if he will want them, weapons more lethal and powerful than the nuclear weapons, obtained in laboratory manipulating existing virus (or other natural pathogen agents) and assembling artificial "final weapons". The construction of always more powerful weapons is the unavoidable consequence of the technological progress of a civilization, and our civilization is achieving it just in this epoch. So, it's perfectly logic that, if God want to stop with his direct intervention the adventure of mankind, make it now, before mankind self-destroy.

2) How did you know there was a "Prophecy of the Popes"?

In a totally casual way, because I had never considered topics regarding the Faith. Before the death of Pope Wojtyla, some strange coincidences occurred in the previous months suddendly captured my attention, like those reported in the news section in this website, regarding for example the hour of death of Sister Lucy or the strange request by Alì Agcà to Wojtyla of revealing this one would be the last generation to live on the Earth. When I knew that the death of Pope Wojtyla occurred at 21:37 (21x37 = 777, the number symbol of perfection), I  began to search on the Web information on all the coincidences and the circumstances linking Pope Wojtyla, Lucy of Fatima, the attempt to the Pope, and so on. So, at a certain point, I casually read about the Prophecy of the Popes, that I fully interpreted thanks to the coincidences I found meanwhile, a thing that no person could make before, because many coincidences are very recent and/or passed completely unnoticed. The pieces of the "puzzle" joining all these things rapidly embedded each other and now only the lasts are lacking.

3) Don't you think to be considered a catastrophist, due to the conclusions you arrive in this website?

No, at all. All the information contained in this website can be easily verified on the Web, one afer one, by the reader. Moreover, who read my book Mondi futuri (Future Worlds), in which I analyze both the most optimistic and the most pessimistic scenario for the future of our civilizatoin, well know that I am not an a priori catastrophist: I leave the "facts speak", even often we don't want to ear "them". Tipically, the human mind strongly refuse catastrophic conclusion like those presented in this website. When, after a few week since the death of Pope Wojtyla, I was aware of  some conclusions presented in this hypertext, I was so shocked by the message associated that my mind refused for some months of further meditating on them! The recent facts regarding Pope Benedict XVI, his probable "last journey" in Germany and the terrible persecution against the Pope and the Christians threatened from the islamic terrorists didn't sound "casual" to me, well knowing the last sentences of the Prophecy of the Popes.   

4) For which reason did you decided to realize this website?

Even if some news are not good for the reader, I decided to publish these information (only in part already known), and expecialy the conclusions reached in this hypertext because this is the first document to make it, and because it's clear that the Message of Fatima and the Prophecy of the Popes, if "read" and interpreted in the context illustrated here, are topics that each of us should communicate to the greatest possible number of people, for the nature itself of the message. I surely have not a personal advantage:
I'm a science writer, so for my job realizing a website of this kind could mean, in the case, only negative consequences. But I think that not spreding these information only to have a quite life would be an egoistic choice, so I decided to realize this website assuming all the responsability regarding the contents and the deriving consequences.
